About me
My name is Leah Herold, I’m 22 years old and currently living in Berlin, where I’m studying at the international acting school Cours Florent.
My passion for acting began at a young age, and I’ve had the privilege of portraying a wide range of characters both on stage and in front of the camera. One of my first experiences in film was in 2005 with Ein ganz normales Paar, and since then, I’ve continuously worked on expanding my skills and artistic expression. During my exchange year in Florida, I had the chance to perform in the musical Thoroughly Modern Millie, which further deepened my love for musical theater and stage performance.
In 2022, I took on the role of "Sophia" in the feature film Erbsünde, directed by Ahmed Chaer — a project filmed entirely in English and set to premiere soon. Alongside my work in film and theater, I’ve also been part of several short film productions and regularly attend workshops in musical theater, improvisation, and on-camera acting to keep evolving as an actress.
For me, acting is more than just a craft — it’s a way to tell meaningful stories, explore human emotions, and connect with audiences on a deeper level.

Mein Name ist Leah Herold, ich bin 22 Jahre alt und lebe derzeit in Berlin, wo ich an der internationalen Schauspielschule Cours Florent studiere.
Meine Leidenschaft für die Schauspielerei hat schon früh begonnen, und ich hatte das Glück, bereits unterschiedlichste Rollen auf der Bühne und vor der Kamera verkörpern zu dürfen. Mein erster Kontakt mit dem Film war 2005 in Ein ganz normales Paar. Seitdem arbeite ich kontinuierlich daran, mein schauspielerisches Repertoire weiterzuentwickeln. Während meines Austauschjahres in Florida konnte ich in dem Musical Thoroughly Modern Millie mitwirken, was meine Begeisterung für Musicaltheater und die Bühne noch weiter verstärkt hat.
2022 durfte ich die Rolle der „Sophia“ im englischsprachigen Spielfilm Erbsünde von Ahmed Chaer übernehmen – ein Projekt, das demnächst veröffentlicht wird. Neben meinen Arbeiten in Film und Theater war ich auch in mehreren Kurzfilmen zu sehen und besuche regelmäßig Workshops in den Bereichen Musical, Improvisation und Kamera-Acting, um mich stetig weiterzuentwickeln.
Für mich ist Schauspiel mehr als nur ein Handwerk – es ist die Möglichkeit, Geschichten zum Leben zu erwecken, Emotionen greifbar zu machen und eine Verbindung zum Publikum herzustellen.
